School Field Trips
Learning about Agriculture!
Extend learning with a visit to nature’s classroom!
School field trips offered May–October.
On weekdays, throughout our growing season, it’s common to see a school bus loaded with excited students pulling into our parking lot, while a tractor and wagon loaded with eager students pulls off into the field.
Our farm is a wonderful place for your students to see the wonders of agriculture, nature, and fun as well. Our school tours are educational and full of activities, extending the common core curriculum with hands-on activities. We provide students with a well-rounded look at a family farm. Students will get a first hand look at how fruits and vegetables grow and meet all kinds of farm animals. We tailor each tour so that activities are age appropriate and relate to recent topics of study in school. A day on the farm is a learning experience for children of all ages, chaperones and teachers!
A visit to our farm is a great way to begin or end the school year, as tours can be scheduled during the spring months of May through June or during the fall months of September and October.
Students go home with produce, and a whole lot of great memories. They leave with a better understanding of family farming and getting down to earth.
